![]() When sending fonts, its best to compress them by right-clicking the folder and selecting Send to and then compressed (zipped) folder. Click Copy to Folder (NOT Move to Folder). and then the original font file is removed, deleted or otherwise unavailable. When you release the right button, a menu will appear. You cannot use Suitcase Fusion and Universal Type Client on the same. I know I can change to the more robust Helvetica Neue LT Std font family, but that presents its own problems for my saved INDDs (causing some missing fonts, issues with bullet and number characters, etc.) so that's a lot of tedious fixing I'd prefer to avoid. Next, right-click (and hold) on one of the selected fonts and drag onto the folder you created on the desktop. Set the font size scaling within the operating system to a lower value. The Vault Client does not support 4K displays. INDD, the problem is back when I open the file again. The font size within the User Interface of Autodesk Vault is too big. INDD, strangely, the bold text renders within the PDF - AND then it also all appears within the. ![]() I have no errors displayed nor "missing font" alerts, the text is just not displayed. INDD that uses this font, all the Bold text of this font simply is not displayed. From what I understand, the Helvetica Neue.ttc font is a system font (perhaps installed by a Microsoft product on my Mac, thus a Windows font?) I've not had this problem in ID 15.x and earlier. I'm continuing to have a similar problem, specifically with using Helvetica Neue - Bold in InDesign 16.1 on Mac Catalina. Thank you. I have included screen shots for reference. Other times it will open but them shut off a few seconds later. Sometimes the file can't open the fonts at all and they start out and remain highlighted pink. In contrast, using the typefaces variable font version would combine all five styles into one file. Then when I go to export, the system fonts turn pink. Sometimes the document will open ok and the fonts will appear fine. I even created some very simple type only files that are having system font issues as well. Packaged files are suddenly showing up with lots of the dreaded pink. Basically it appears system fonts have become problematic with InDesign. I actually don't think Suitcase has too much to do with this, because the problem occurred after the InDesign update, but it's our font management software so I'm including it. I have narrowed it down to InDesign 15.0.2, macOS Catalina 10.15.3, and Suitcase Fusion 21.0.0.
